What is a Health and Safety Plan (HSP)?

A prestação do Serviço de elaboração do Plano de Segurança e Saúde deverá ajustar-se ao especificado no Real Decreto 1627/1997, de 24 de outubro, que estabelece as disposições mínimas de segurança e saúde nas obras de construção.

One of the main legal obligations of the contractor in construction works is to draw up the Safety and Health Plan (Art. 7.º do R.D. 1627/97).

In relation to worksites, the Workplace Safety and Health Plan referred to in this article constitutes the basic instrument for organising the activities of identification and, if necessary, assessment of risks and planning of the preventive activity referred to in Chapter II of the Royal Decree approving the Regulation of the Prevention Services.
