Q-safety has participated in the 8th and last Business Event for the Mediterranean Corridor #QuieroCorredor, held last 20th November at the Roig Arena in Valencia. The meeting, promoted by the Valencian Business Association (AVE), The event brought together more than 2,500 entrepreneurs, managers and representatives of civil society from all over Spain.
Under the slogan “No one can stop this train”.”, The conference once again placed at the centre of the debate the need to complete the Mediterranean Corridor as a key infrastructure for competitiveness, sustainability and the structuring of the country.

A key meeting for competitiveness and territorial structuring
Mediterranean Corridor, in which it was stressed that:
- Around the 36 % of the layout is already in service.
- Approximately 85 % is in the construction phase.
- The 100 % of the corridor is active in one of the phases (project, tender or work).
This regular monitoring provides an updated picture of the evolution of the project and demonstrates the steady progress of an infrastructure that is considered strategic for both Spain and the European Union as a whole.
Throughout the day, institutional representatives and business leaders spoke, highlighting the impact that the Mediterranean Corridor will have on aspects such as:
- The reduction of logistical costs for companies.
- The boosting exports and foreign trade.
- The attracting national and international investment.
- The improving territorial cohesion between autonomous communities and logistics nodes.
- The move towards a more sustainable transport model, The railways are more important than roads.

Q-safety's vision: safe, efficient and sustainable infrastructures

As a company specialising in Health and safety on construction sites and in the integrated management of prevention in large projects, Q-safety shares the objective of making the Mediterranean Corridor a real driving force for economic, social and environmental progress.
For Q-safety, the execution of infrastructures of this magnitude requires rigorous coordination between all the agents involved, as well as advanced health and safety management that guarantees:
- The protection of workers during the entire construction cycle.
- The integration of preventive criteria from the initial design and planning phases.
- Reduction of accidents and continuous improvement of working conditions.
- The incorporation of innovative solutions in terms of prevention, digitisation and documentary control.
A project in line with Q-safety's commitment to the environment.
In addition to its economic impact, the Mediterranean Corridor is presented as an infrastructure aligned with the objectives of decarbonisation of transport and the fight against climate change. The promotion of freight and passenger traffic by rail will reduce emissions, decongest roads and optimise the use of energy resources.
In this sense, Q-safety reinforces its position as a specialised partner to accompany developers, construction companies and large operators in projects they integrate:
- Sustainability and environmental criteria.
- High standards of health and safety at work.
- Processes for the coordination of business activities (CAE) adapted to complex environments.
- Specialised technical assistance in all phases of infrastructure projects.
