CyrusOnhe civil engineering work on the new centre in Madrid, the Data Center MAD1The project is expected to be commissioned in the fourth quarter of 2024.

CyrusOne acquired more than two hectares in Alcobendas in 2021. The data centre is a two-storey building, with 18MW of total load, in more than 6,000 square metres of IT space. The facility will achieve BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Methodology) 'Very Good' certification, which assesses the sustainability of the world's facilities and buildings, as it will use 100% renewable energy and generate around 100KW through solar photovoltaic panels.
