What is the renovation of the Hotel Palace like?
Archer Hotel Capital, owner of the hotel, has commissioned the comprehensive refurbishment in two phases of the legendary Hotel Palace, located in Madrid’s Plaza de Neptuno.
The renovation project is being carried out by Arcadis as Project Manager. The architectural firm is Ruiz-Larrea and Lázaro Estudio is responsible for the interior design.

In the first phase, the rooms and common areas will be renovated, and the façade will be refurbished. The project also includes restoring the structure, reinforcing it, and cleaning the glass of the famous dome of La Rotonda Restaurant.

The property is listed as a Site of Cultural Interest (BIC) by the General Urban Development Plan, which means it has the same level of protection as other monuments such as the Royal Palace or the Almudena Cathedral in Madrid.

This five-star complex has 470 rooms and was built in 1912. It was the command centre where the failed coup attempt of 23 February was planned.
