What is the Ámbito Vera Project?
The Ámbito Vera project is being developed on the former grounds of Altadis in the Los Remedios neighborhood of Seville25 million Euros and is being carried out by the company KKH Property Investors.
This intervention will radically transform the neighborhood's relationship with the rest of the city. A new luxury hotel, three office buildingsthe central building (The Cube), a civic plaza, a pedestrian walkway between the neighborhood and the historic center and new green areas make up the project for the renovation of this space.
The space in which KKH will intervene includes several facilities with different execution deadlines. First, a luxury hotel, whose design is by Carlos Ferrater and will have eight floors and 210 rooms.
The second of the spaces is The Cubedesign, design of Kengo Kuma. The famous Japanese architect is the author of the building of the Olympic Stadium for the Tokyo Games, the cultural center of Shanghai or the museum and birthplace of Hans Christian Anderssen in Denmark. This facility has 14,000 square meters.
The land of the former Los Remedios factory will also be used to house office buildings. In this case, the two buildings known as Rama 1 and Rama 2 will be rehabilitated and a third office building will be constructed. Each of these buildings will have about 2,000 square meters and its design is the responsibility of the Ruiz-Larrea Arquitectura studio.
The Civic Plazaalso known as Plaza de Las Cigarreras, will also be designed by Kengo Kuma and is scheduled for completion in the second half of 2025.
For its part, the FootbridgeSpanish engineering design Phecor, by José Romoin collaboration with Kengo Kuma. It is a work financed by KKH with an investment of 5 million euros and will be executed by the City Council of Seville.
Finally, the landscaping project, of which the final details were announced this Friday, and which is designed by Gustavo Marina in collaboration with Bureau4 y Plan VE.
