What is a Health and Safety Plan (PPS)

The provision of the Health and Safety Plan Service shall comply with the provisions of Royal Decree 1627/1997, of 24 October, which establishes the minimum health and safety requirements for construction works.

 

One of the main legal obligations of the Contractor in construction works with a project is to draw up the Health and Safety Plan (Art. 7 of R.D. 1627/97).

In relation to the safety measures to be applied on the site, the Occupational Health and Safety Plan referred to in this article constitutes the basic instrument for organising the activities of identification and, where appropriate, assessment of risks and planning of the preventive activity referred to in Chapter II of the Royal Decree approving the Prevention Services Regulations.
