Event Q-safety La Vaguada

Successful participation in the event "Health and Safety on Construction Sites in a Work Centre in Use" organised by Q-safety and La Vaguada Shopping Centre.

• The refurbishment of the shopping centre will last 13 months and its activity will be maintained during the works.

Q-safety by Quirónprevención, leader in health and safety services on construction sites, together with the La Vaguada Shopping Centre in Madrid, have organised an event entitled "Health and Safety on Construction Sites in a Work Centre in Use", taking advantage of the fact that the shopping centre is being remodelled and that the Health and Safety Coordination of these works and the Coordination of Business Activities is being carried out by Q-safety.

This event has attracted the attention of professionals, experts and leaders in occupational safety from all over Spain and Portugal, with the participation of speakers of proven prestige such as Jesús Alonso Martín (head of PRL at Mercadona), Iván Pérez Martín (PhD in PRL and professor at the European University of Madrid), Juan González (Project Manager at Arcadis) and José Mª Ruiz Carpintero (Technical Director of Q-safety). The event was presented by Jesús Hernández (Deputy Director of the La Vaguada Shopping Centre in Madrid).

Among other projects of notable interest, such as the remodelling work on the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, Spotify Camp Nou, Hotel Palace in Madrid, etc., the Health and Safety particularities of the remodelling work on the La Vaguada Shopping Centre in Madrid were discussed.

This project, which will be spread over a period of 13 months, presents the additional challenge of maintaining the daily activity of the shopping centre while the works are being carried out.
