The Health and Safety Study is the document that defines the appropriate preventive measures for the risks involved in carrying out construction work, providing the site with the ideal conditions for health and safety and protection from occupational hazards.
Regulated by Royal Decree 1627/1997, it is a mandatory document for many construction projects and the best guarantee for preventing risks, protecting all equipment and complying with current regulations.
When is a Health and Safety Study mandatory?
The developer is obliged to hire an HSE when:
The budget for carrying out the work exceeds €450,000.
The duration of the work exceeds 30 working days and more than 20 workers are employed simultaneously.
The total volume of work exceeds 50 working days.
The work includes tunnels, galleries, underground conduits or dams.
