What is a Health and Safety Plan (HSP)?

The provision of the Health and Safety Plan will be in accordance with the provisions of Royal Decree 1627/1997, of October 24, 1997, which establishes the minimum health and safety provisions for construction works.

One of the main legal obligations of the Contractor in construction works is to prepare the Health and Safety Plan (Art. 7 of R.D. 1627/97).

In relation to the jobs on site, the Occupational Health and Safety Plan referred to in this article constitutes the basic instrument for organizing the activities of identification and, where appropriate, risk assessment and planning of the preventive activity referred to in Chapter II of the Royal Decree approving the Prevention Services Regulations.
