The Hortensia Herrero Art Center in Valencia has recently been inaugurated. Q-safety has been in charge of the Health and Safety Coordination.

This work is located in the former Valeriola PalaceThis building, constructed at the beginning of the 17th century, has been rehabilitated during more than five years of archaeological work, demolition, reinforcements, restoration and new construction, converting this building in ruins into a center of avant-garde art and an icon in the city of Valencia.

In this building there have been found vestiges of a Roman circus, remains of an Islamic courtyard, a street hidden behind a false door of the old Jewish quarter, an oven from the Middle Ages or 22 burials belonging to the cemetery of the adjoining church of San Juan del Hospital.

This art center will have among its works of art of different styles, including painting, sculpture, installations, moving art and multimedia works.

More than a hundred works by renowned international artists, which will place Valencia in the spotlight of the contemporary art museum scene worldwide.
